Murder of Crows: Reverse All Tides
Cronicle is happy to announce the release of our first fiction publication set in the Great Lakes: Murder of Crows Reverse All Tides, book 1 in the Michigandia fantasy series.
Joel Laundry found a mermaid swimming in a well in downtown Feysville. Magic that seems normal to residents whose families have lived here long enough to not ask questions makes Joel uneasy. What if a town is so polluted, so poisoned by its own greed and secrets that it needs cleansing from the ground up? What if magic propping up a dying town is at war with nature itself? The town of Feysville has failing farms, skeletons who won’t stay in the cemetery, and a brothel full of working girls and boys whose anger has raised a natural magic from the ground to cleanse this place until it isn’t a stain on history. The crypt keeper has let the town’s residents free from the graveyard, a strange sickness is spreading, and now the corpses won’t go back to their graves. What can the girl reincarnated as a mermaid in the well at the center of town do to set things back in balance in this incarnation? She has a history here, too, a potential future with Joel, but uncovering her past-life identity may mean the death of everyone who has a debt to pay, even the man she has fallen for.
