Tuesday January 7th: BioSocial @ The Pretzel Bell 5-7 pm Have you visited the new BioSocial for the biotech community? It’s free, and on top of the Pretzel Bell’s happy hour and Taco Tuesday specials.

Tuesday January 8th: IT Networking Social 5-8 pm @ Haymaker Public House in Ann Arbor Casual networking social for Information Technology professionals in the Ann Arbor area. No agenda. No speakers. No cover charge. Ever. Just networking with IT professionals. Plain and simple.

Wednesday January 8th: Hacking With The Homies in Detroit on Woodward 6pm DetroitBlackTech + Altimetrik Collider partnership with a goal to build an inclusive workspace for tech professionals and aspiring tech professionals in Detroit. Attending Hacking with the Homies will open the doors to meet professionals across different tech industry backgrounds- development, project management executive leadership design etc. RSVP required. *Free food will be provided.*

Wednesday January 22nd: SBIR/STTR 101 @ SPARK East in Ypsilanti 9 am-12 pm The Federal SBIR/STTR programs award $3.2 billion in high-risk R&D funding annually to qualified small businesses developing game-changing technologies. Attend this session and find out more about the two programs and how they can provide a source of R&D funding between the initial development of your innovative idea and proof that it has potential in the marketplace.
